Paris Hilton Perfume Sales Reach $1.5 Billion

PARIS HILTON has turned her fragrance endeavours into a billion-dollar empire in just eight years.

The socialite and reality TV star launched her first perfume in 2004 and she is currently preparing to release her 15th scent, Dazzle, this summer (12).

Her venture into the fragrance industry has Hilton smelling the sweet smell of success - her collection of products has generated an estimated $1.5 billion since its debut, and sales of Dazzle are expected to add at least another $20 million (£12.5 million) to her profits, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Hilton isn't the only blonde businesswoman to become a self-made billionaire - singer and new mum Jessica Simpson has turned her various own-brand clothing and beauty products into big money-spinners.
