Is Simon Cowell Offering $500m For Beyonce's Judging Services?

Simon Cowell is said to have offered Beyonce a massive $500m if she signs up as a judge for five seasons of X Factor USA.

The music mogul is apparently keen to snag the world famous superstar in his bid to revive the talent show when it returns later this year and create the bounce needed to out-perform American Idol's ratings.

There are currently two empty seats on the judging panel after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were axed from the show.

If Beyonce accepted it would make her and husband Jay-Z worth well over $1billion combined.

A source revealed Cowell 'wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah [Carey] is good, but she’s not that hot today.'

Beyonce has remained 'tight-lipped' but said to expect a 'major' career announcement from the star in the next month or so.

A spokeswoman for Cowell declined to comment on speculation about the new judging line-up for X Factor USA.
